About Us

Welcome to the about us page! Here you can learn more about the amazing team that makes MAZE possible. Our small group consists of psychology and neuroscience students based at the University of St Andrews. While we all have different interests and strengths, what brings us together is our shared desire to help make psychology and neuroscience more accessible to the general public. It has been a pleasure working together this year and we look forward to seeing the journey that lies ahead!

Our Story

In 2013, Sarune Savickaite (aka The Founding Mother) brings together a group of students to write MAZE, which at the time was a School of Psychology and Neuroscience newsetter.

The first edition of the Magazine was printed with the funds secured by the head of the School of Psychology and Neuroscience, Keith Sillar.

Maze has been revived several times, remaining a unique student-published source allowing students gain experience in the diverse field of Psychology and Neuroscience.

Now, in 2024/25, the team has exapnded. We are doing our best to bring MAZE back by not only supporting student writers and regularly publishing new issues, but also widening our audience via our social media.
